In order to have a successful hiring process, Management Recruiters of Burlington's search and selection process requires ongoing consultation, communication, and feedback between our client and our search-team leader. In fact, the only way to be successful is to create a positive sales team, including the client. The following 15-step retainer-search process will be used to successfully meet the goals of finding and selling the opportunity to the right people, culminating in hiring the person who can do the job.

15-Step Retained Accelerated Recruitment™ Search and Selection Process

Step 1. Needs Analysis

MR Burlington will work with the client in order to:

  • Determine qualifications client seeks
  • Understand compensation package
  • Target companies and candidates
  • Obtain last two resumes of successful hires
  • Know responsibilities and expectations of position

Step 2. Determine how to Present Opportunity

  • Strategize with the client on how to get the best candidates excited by the opportunity.

Step 3. Create Internal "White Paper"

  • Within 48 hours of the needs analysis meeting, have all members of the client's hiring team review, and sign off on, MR Burlington's written interpretation of the position's specific requirements.

Step 4. Research Companies and Candidates

  • Identify companies with viable candidates
  • Submit targeted companies to client

Step 5. In-Depth Candidate Interviews

  • We (MR Burlington) will identify 60-80 potential candidates.
  • From those candidates, we will interview 30-40

Step 6. Present Qualified Candidates

Step 7. Prepare Candidates for First Interview

Step 8. Prepare Client for First Interview

Step 9. Debrief Candidates

Step 11. Conduct In-Depth Reference Checks

What we expect from the client:

  • The employer must offer a competitive compensation package.
  • The employer must offer a competitive benefit program.
  • The employer must commit to a hiring process where decisions are made within 24 hours of each interview.
  • The employer must agree to work with MR Burlington on selling recruited candidates on accepting the position.
  • The employer must co-operate and respect the time, expertise, and professionalism of the recruiters.
  • The employer must give complete and thorough descriptions of the requirements, duties, and responsibilities of the position(s).
  • The employer must give a clear history and projected growth of the company.
  • The employer must give a biographical sketch, including personality and management style, of the hiring officials.
